- seed_content no longer undoes admin work: a SeedRecord ledger (content/seed_sync.py)
stops deleted/renamed/re-worded content from being recreated and keeps admin-edited
lesson text; new rows in the seed files still arrive (migration content.0010)
- plan list cache is invalidated on Plan save (receiver used a stale 'v1' key)
- token refresh per-IP cap 30/hour -> 600/hour (TOKEN_REFRESH_IP_RATE)
- a failed gateway result only changes a pending order (forged NOK no longer
overwrites refunded/canceled)
- tutor gets the correct answer only after the student has answered
- support reply notification moved to a TicketMessage post_save signal
- global daily cap on paid AI questions (AI_GLOBAL_DAILY_MAX, default 3000)
- Bazaar verify uses only the order's SKU; bazaar orders require a SKU
- /api/health warns on the committed signing key; deploy.sh saves local commits;
400 for bad ?unit= / ?period=; account delete keeps the referrer's Conversion
- earlier today: no stub answers outside DEBUG, ?grade= removed, logged fallbacks

GET /api/support/tickets returns the caller's last 20 tickets with their
support-reply count, on the read throttle so listing never spends the
30/hour create quota. Before it the app kept ticket ids only in one
browser's localStorage, so a ticket and its answer vanished with the device.
Completion notifications now use Persian digits and drop the
'with 0 stars ... 0 points' sentence when nothing was earned.
.env.example: NUM_PROXIES=2 (ArvanCloud + nginx), KAVENEGAR_OTP_TEMPLATE,
BAZAAR_PISHKHAN_API_SECRET, sandbox off by default; removed variables the
code no longer reads.

Grade ids were the order the books were imported in (ninth=1, eighth=5), so
gradeId: 5 meant eighth grade and the admin, the question filter and the API
all listed grades out of order. Grade.number (1-12) is now read from the title,
new grades take it as their id, and migration 0008 moves existing ids plus every
reference to them: Unit, the loose grade_id in accounts/ai_tutor/rag, and the
grade target inside campaign JSON. Unnumbered demo grades move above 100 and the
id sequence is raised past 12 so they never collide with a real grade.
The frontend needs no change: it always reads gradeId from the server.

The README had grown into a 295-line mixture of onboarding, an ops runbook, a
content-authoring workflow, bulk question generation and a Docker log stack. A
reader arriving at the repo could not tell in ten seconds what this service is,
whether it is live, or where to start, and five of its claims no longer matched
the code:
- it said to export .env values by hand; settings.py has loaded .env through
python-dotenv for a while now
- it listed six variables as "everything the app actually reads"; .env.example
has carried many more than that for some time
- it called DJANGO_SECRET_KEY, DJANGO_ALLOWED_HOSTS and CACHE_URL required in
production; all three now have working defaults, and the app boots without
them on purpose so a partial .env cannot take the service down
- it claimed there is no insecure SECRET_KEY fallback; there is one, under DEBUG
- it required Python 3.12 while the project runs on 3.11 (Docker uses 3.12)
The README now states what the service is, where it runs, how healthy it is and
how to get it running in six commands, then links onward. Procedures moved to
docs/operations.md, docs/content-authoring.md, docs/architecture.md and
docs/docker.md, which is where someone follows a procedure rather than skims it.
Nothing was dropped; the deploy one-liner now includes the separate sudo restart
that deploy.sh cannot perform itself, and backup/restore is written down for the
first time.
Every number in the README was measured rather than quoted: content counts from
the live /api/health and content/seed/curriculum.json, 55 endpoints from the
generated OpenAPI schema, 481 tests from a full run.
