Plan.kind (pack/subscription) collided with the lesson kind
(quiz/video); drf-spectacular named one KindEd8Enum and warned.

The claim that the user-row lock plus SQLite IMMEDIATE stops one credit
being spent twice was untested. Two threads on separate connections now
ask at the same time: one answer, one credit spent; the same
Idempotency-Key arriving twice at once also costs one credit. Removing
transaction_mode IMMEDIATE turns both red (500, database is locked).

Bazaar orders are only created through POST /api/payment/orders, which
took no planId, so a pack order had plan_id=None: Bazaar verified the
purchase, the order became paid, and grant_pack never ran. The endpoint
now takes planId (rejected when unknown) and snapshots the plan title.
The verify response also returned the pre-payment status ('pending')
because apply_order_payment_result updates its own copy of the order.

The ZWNJ normalisation in screen() replaced ZWNJ with itself, so
'نادیدهبگیر' passed, and self-harm sentences typed with a space or
without ZWNJ ('می خوام بمیرم', 'دیگه نمیخوام زنده باشم', 'خود کشی')
reached the model, which answered with the plain math-only refusal
(one live call, 0.018 cents). Self-harm is now matched on the text with
all spaces removed; the imperative must end the word, so 'نادیده بگیریم'
in a math sentence is no longer an injection.

- packs (20 / 60 / 150 questions for 45,000 / 119,000 / 259,000 toman) never expire and
give 7 / 30 / 60 days of unlimited hearts; old subscription plans stay for existing
subscribers but are no longer on sale
- credit ledger (subscription.QuestionCredit): +N per paid pack (once per order), -1 per
tutor question that reaches the API; the free daily questions are spent first; questions
stopped by the server filter, cached answers and failed answers cost nothing
- unlimited hearts from packs live in HeartsPass, so buying a pack never rewrites a
running subscription
- Message.charge records how each question was paid; GET /api/ai/quota and the ask
responses report free-left-today and credits
- HEARTS_ENFORCED now defaults to on: zero hearts stops answering until refill or a pack

Five a day was too close to the free three. Pricing keeps the tutor under ~40% of net revenue
at typical use (a third of the cap); full numbers in the cost report and docs.

- profile publicId ("User482917", accounts/public_id.py); admin shows and searches it
- plans API reports aiDailyQuota per plan and freeAiDailyQuota; migration 0007 sets the
temporary prices (monthly 99,000 / yearly 990,000 toman, 5 tutor questions a day) unless
an admin already edited the yearly plan
- tutor tone follows the learner's age (18+ gets an adult tone at any grade); notation
still follows the grade's book; answer cache keyed by tone (prompt tutor-v12-age-tone)
- POST /api/user/delete: phone users confirm with a fresh SMS code (same checks as login,
now shared in verify_phone_otp), guests type "حذف"; payment records are kept, demo
accounts refused
- delete_users --skip-paid

- remove the family app from the root (separate parent accounts, invite codes, parental
settings); progress.0006 drops its tables, permissions and migration history, and
Profile.parent_phone, the two family notification types and ?userId= on
/api/progress/nodes go with it
- GET /api/user/weekly-report: last 7 days next to the 7 before (estimated minutes,
questions, accuracy, islands, tutor questions) for the "parent report" page
- profile birthDate in Jalali (accounts/jalali.py), ages 5-99, birthYear derived from it
- GET /api/payment/invoices; orders now snapshot list price and plan title
- tutor answers only math: server pre-filter, scope rule in the prompt (tutor-v11),
refusal marker replaced with fixed text; self-harm gets a help line instead
- streamed answers now record token usage (it was always 0)
- daily tutor quota: AI_DAILY_QUOTA_FREE (default 3) vs Plan.ai_daily_quota
- delete_users management command for wiping test accounts across every app
- docs/ai-cost-and-guardrails.md: measured cost per question and guardrail results

A test payment on 2026-10-01 stopped at StartPay with "access from this
domain is not allowed". The app opens /api/payment/orders/{id}/pay, which
302s to Zarinpal, and that response carried Django's default
Referrer-Policy: same-origin, so the browser dropped the Referer on the
cross-site hop and Zarinpal could not see tadrisino2.ir. Only this view now
sends strict-origin-when-cross-origin (origin only, no path or query);
every other response keeps same-origin.
Not yet confirmed by a second real attempt in a browser.

Nobody has told us how the plans are defined in the Bazaar panel. The
verify view always asked the in-app endpoint, so a subscription SKU would
get "Product is not found" and a 503. verify_purchase now defaults to
is_subscription=None: in-app first, and on that exact answer the same SKU
is asked as a subscription. A wrong package name still raises at once.
Seen against the live Bazaar API with a fake SKU and token only; no real
purchase has gone through it yet.

GET /api/support/tickets returns the caller's last 20 tickets with their
support-reply count, on the read throttle so listing never spends the
30/hour create quota. Before it the app kept ticket ids only in one
browser's localStorage, so a ticket and its answer vanished with the device.
Completion notifications now use Persian digits and drop the
'with 0 stars ... 0 points' sentence when nothing was earned.
.env.example: NUM_PROXIES=2 (ArvanCloud + nginx), KAVENEGAR_OTP_TEMPLATE,
BAZAAR_PISHKHAN_API_SECRET, sandbox off by default; removed variables the
code no longer reads.

A real chat answered "what if 6 were 4?" with a semicircle problem from the
retrieved book excerpt instead of the parabola asked a moment before. A short
follow-up now carries the previous user question next to it. The catalog
teaches line equations as written, regularPolygon, exteriorAngle, graphs only
through function items and tangents through tangent; fraction words (یکپنجم،
نُهدهم) pull the fraction section.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
"What if 6 were 4?" has no shape word, so the diagram hint never went next to
it and the tutor would answer without a new figure. When the previous user
question in the conversation had one, a soft hint (redraw only if this
continues that problem) and the same catalog sections now go along.
tools/fake_openai.py stands in for GapGPT locally so the whole tutor path can be
exercised without credit: 12 scripted answers across grades 6-12 went through
streaming, block splitting, repair, storage, history and rendering in the real
chat screen.

Diagrams: 14 kinds drawn by the app (plane with constructed points, graphs with
computed roots/extrema/tangents, number lines with intervals, solids, charts,
tables, Venn, mapping, trees, fractions, grids, groups, clock). The catalog is
split by topic and only the matching sections go next to a question (200-1073
tokens instead of 1854). parse() repairs slips seen on 96 real book problems:
Persian digits in JSON numbers, 2*pi, // comments, bare items, Venn with
Persian set names. Measured: 45/48 valid on the second round, 0/8 on plain
arithmetic; visual review of 83: 64 right, 3 weak, 16 wrong.
Content: 82 new questions so no island has fewer than four; fill_lesson_texts
writes Unit.blurb (58) and Lesson.example/steps (590) from verified book
problems, never the lesson's own quiz problem. seed_content only fills empty
fields, so admin edits survive a deploy. Tedi unlocks at 500 xp.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
The model ends a shape question with <diagram>{json}</diagram>; rag/services/diagram.py
splits it off before mathtext, validates it against a whitelist and stores it on
Message.diagram (ai_tutor.0006). It reaches the app in the SSE done event and in
conversation history. Prompt tutor-v6-diagrams; a hint next to the question (shape
words only) raised gpt-4.1-mini from 3/12 to 12/12 diagrams, 0/8 on arithmetic.
progress.0005 adds tedi (600 xp) to the companion catalog.

Iranian network paths can be slow; the owner asked for 30 s. The frontend's
requestOtp timeout goes to 45 s in the same change so it outlasts both.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Seen live on 2026-09-27: Kavenegar took 5.4 s, our 5 s timeout fired, the
API answered 503 and deleted the code, but the SMS arrived, so the site
said "service unavailable" while the phone held a code that no longer
worked. A read timeout now means "delivery unknown": the code is kept and
the request succeeds (the cooldown still blocks a second SMS). A failed
connection is still an explicit 503. Read timeout raised to 10 s.

The API moved to mathapi.tadrisino2.ir on 2026-09-26 (nginx server_name
changed at 23:22) and api.math.tadrisino2.ir no longer resolves. The code
default for PUBLIC_BASE_URL and the docs' curl examples still named the dead
host, so every paymentUrl, the Zarinpal callback and the Bazaar redirect the
backend builds pointed nowhere. Historical status notes in CLAUDE.md keep the
old name on purpose. config/tests.py now reads the API host from
PUBLIC_BASE_URL instead of a literal. 624 tests green.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
A domain change is coming (the Zarinpal terminal rejects the current callback
domain). ALLOWED_HOSTS, CSRF_TRUSTED_ORIGINS, CORS defaults, the Bazaar
redirect URI and deploy.sh's public health URL each spelled the domain out.
They now derive from PUBLIC_BASE_URL and FRONTEND_URL, which keep today's
domain as their default; env values for the three lists are still added on
top, so the old domain can stay allowed while DNS moves.
ZARINPAL_CALLBACK_URL used os.environ.get(key, default), so an empty key in
.env produced an empty callback and every payment would fail closed. It now
uses the same `.strip() or` fallback as its neighbours; the new test caught it.
config/tests_domains.py loads settings in a subprocess with a new domain and
fails if any derived value still mentions the old one. docs/operations.md
gains the step-by-step domain move (DNS, .env, Zarinpal/Bazaar panels,
frontend config.js, verification). CLAUDE.md records that the frontend is
now ours and where the rebuild stands. 624 tests green.

Tried against the real Bazaar API on 2026-09-26 after the first live
authorization: "Authorization: Bearer <t>" gets 403 "Access token is not
valid", the bare token is accepted, even though token_type says Bearer.
The refresh grant also returned expires_in=3600000, which the old code
would have cached for ~41 days; the TTL is now capped at one hour and
401/403 clear it.
404 invalid_value (wrong package or SKU) is our misconfiguration, so it
now raises 503 instead of failing the user's order; only error=not_found
means "not purchased", as Bazaar's docs say.

The account's line cancels free-text SMS (status 13); the senior confirmed
the account is fine and only the template name was missing. With
KAVENEGAR_OTP_TEMPLATE set, OTP goes to verify/lookup with just the code as
token; without it the old sms/send path is unchanged. Both share one
provider call and response check. 620 tests green.

Read against Bazaar's own docs (wp-json of developers.cafebazaar.ir):
both validation URLs were wrong, so no real purchase could ever verify.
In-app is now api/validate/<pkg>/inapp/<sku>/purchases/<token>/, and
subscriptions add the missing /purchases/ and judge validUntil, since
that response has no purchaseState.
Only 404 means "not purchased"; 401/403/5xx now raise 503 so our own
key or quota trouble cannot mark a paid order failed. The client token
is URL-quoted so it cannot steer the request to another API path.
BAZAAR_PISHKHAN_API_SECRET (the documented new method, a static header
token with no OAuth) takes precedence when set; /api/health gains
integrations.bazaar. Not yet exercised by a real purchase.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
The Bazaar account owner registered /api/payment/bazaar/verify as the
redirect URI. POST stays the app's purchase check; GET now takes Bazaar's
?code=, exchanges it for a refresh token and stores it in the new
BazaarCredential row, so connecting needs no SSH or .env edit.
The GET is unauthenticated, so it only acts inside a window opened from
the admin (or bazaar_authorize_link): 72 h by default, closed by the first
successful exchange, state checked when Bazaar echoes it. Authorize/token
URL shapes follow the known devapi v2 flow; not checked against Bazaar's
current docs, which did not load.

102 unique textbook questions, 1,287 full model answers, per-answer cost and
the hand grades for both rounds. Book excerpts (retrieval context) are left out.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Two benchmark rounds (14 models on 30 problems, then gpt-4o-mini vs gpt-4.1-mini
on 102 problems under three prompt versions, hand-graded): gpt-4.1-mini scored
95-96/102 against 85-90 for gpt-4o-mini, at 0.12 vs 0.04 cents per answer.
The default now lives in settings so the deploy needs no .env edit.
The context note "in the book / is a decimal point, not a fraction" was written
for the upper-grade books but went to every grade, so gpt-4.1-mini computed
1/7 + 1/8 as 3.5. For primary grades the note now says / can be either, and a
reading rule sits next to the question itself (the same rule at the end of
the system prompt had no effect). Slash problems went from 11 to 14 of 17;
three are still wrong.
generate_answer now reports the provider's exact per-call cost, reasoning
tokens and whether the raw output broke the plain-text rule. The benchmark
fixes primary grades being sent with no book context, caches retrieval so
runs compare on identical context, and retries Qdrant timeouts.
